Who We Are

Furry Finds started because we were tired of buying "indestructible" dog toys that lasted 20 minutes and "cozy" pet beds that our cats ignored completely.

We're a group of pet parents — dog people, cat people, the occasional rabbit person — who got together to actually test the stuff we buy for our animals. Not in a lab. In our homes, with our actual pets, in the chaos of real life.

How We Test

Real pets, real mess. Our test crew includes:

A 75-lb golden retriever who thinks every toy is a demolition project
A senior beagle with arthritis who needs orthopedic support
Two cats who sleep on everything except the $80 cat bed
A high-energy border collie who goes through leashes like toilet paper
A chihuahua who proves that small dogs are not gentle dogs

We use the products for weeks, not hours. A 10-minute unboxing video tells you nothing. We live with these products:

Chew toys get 2+ weeks of daily abuse
Beds are tested for washability (multiple cycles, because pets are messy)
Harnesses go on actual walks in rain, mud, and that weird humidity that makes everything smell
Food bowls get the "left in the sink overnight" test

We check the boring stuff. Safety certifications, recall history, material sourcing, whether that "organic" label actually means anything. We read the fine print so you don't have to.

Our Review Policy

No sponsored posts. If a brand sent it to us for free, we say so — but most of the time, we bought it ourselves.
Honest about durability. We tell you when something falls apart. We also tell you when it survives longer than expected.
Breed matters. A chew toy that's perfect for a 10-lb terrier will be a choking hazard for a Great Dane. We specify who each product is actually for.
Vet-checked when possible. We run safety and health claims past a veterinarian before publishing.
